Over the past twenty five years, Billy has consulted, constructed and/or renovated over 150 courses around the world. He has worked in climate conditions ranging from the desert of Arizona, to the humidity of the southeastern USA to the mountains of British Columbia. His knowledge of agronomy and the demands of varying environments is second to none.
Billy is also on leading edge of the movement to move golf toward sustainability through the development of natural fertilizers that will escape the sanctions being enacted by many municipalities around the country limiting the use of nitrogen fertilizers during the summer growth month.
Environmental and economic demands are changing the dynamics of the golf industry but with imagination and an awareness of new resources available to the golf architect or agronomist, golf can be a business model for adapting and thriving in these new conditions.
